3:30pm - Set-up team arrives
Sound System (two handheld mics, two speakers) - Aaron.
Welcome Table (programs, candles, angel wings) [Set-up folding table and hand out items]
Drink table tent with light under it
Drink table set-up & organization - two folding tables (from WFC) + plastic table cloths - Amber P
Manger covering attached (manager frame will be set-up day before) - Pr. Matt
Signage set-up: A-Frame, H-frame, White banner, Blue flag banner (night before)
Light set-up (night before)
Piñata set-up
Folding chairs set-up (someone will be dropping off 80 chairs at 5pm)
5:00pm - We ask that all kids and youth participating in the Nativity play arrive at 5pm for costume fitting and practice run through.
5:45p - “Travelers” start to arrive
6:00pm - Program begins under big oak tree
Welcome, narrators (Elizabeth K. #2 and David H. #1.), prayer, procession to first inn following Angel (Elvia and Pastor)
First inn, inn keeper (Tim), and song
Second inn, inn keeper (Tim), and song
Third inn, inn keeper (Tim), and song
Final stop at manger under pavilion, narrators, re-enactment, and songs [Caelen, Stephanie, Natalie, Misha to help direct kids]
6:30-7:15pm - Dismiss group for Mexican Hot Chocolate, Bunuelos, and Piñatas.
Volunteers needed after Procession for:
Turning on music after Mariachi band is done playing (they will play a few songs after procession).
Handing out hot drinks (3-4 people)
Handing out Bunuelos (2 people)
Piñatas (4 people, two at each, one guiding child, the other keeping the other kids back so they don’t get hit! Plastic bin will have extra candy in it to give out to kids who didn’t get as much. ]
Chatting with visitors, inviting and handing out information about Christmas Eve service.
