a new lutheran church plant in San Antonio - Word and Sacrament ministry

God's gift of life for you

Many of us are living our lives at a breakneck speed with no stopping in sight. Our schedules are jam packed and then some. We race from one activity to the next and work from one promotion to another. We feel the drain of being connected 24/7 to the entire world through technology. All this leads us to feeling exhausted spiritually, emotionally, and physically. We can feel like the forgotten house plant left indoors while on vacation with no watering - parched and half dead. We don't like it but we don't know what to do about it.

It doesn't have to be that way. In fact, God doesn't want it that way. God's desire for our lives is that we would not live in a constant state of anxiety, fear, and exhaustion; rather, He would have us experience peace, joy, and fullness of life. God tells us that He sent His Son Jesus Christ to come that we might have life in abundance. He desires for us to receive a spiritual feeding and watering from Him that alone is able to replenish our souls.

If you desire to receive God's life and experience deep and abiding replenishing and restoring of your soul, join us at Trinity San Antonio where we come together to receive God's gifts of life and grace. Gifts that renew our spiritual lives and empower us for lives of love, joy, and peace. We exist to share together in the life of God for the renewal of all things!

Why a new church in San antonio?

We believe God has established the local congregation as the primary means of bringing people into the kingdom of God and that the local congregation is God's choice context where Christians serve and are strengthened in faith, hope, and love. For this reason, we desire to see many more congregations planted in major cities.

Planting a new church is a missionary endeavor, one that focuses on reaching the unchurched and dechurched. With over 80% of the US population living in cities and with population growth far outpacing new church starts, the need in San Antonio is great. We are excited to be part of God's redemptive work in the lives of 2.4 million eternal souls who live in San Antonio area.

“The vigorous, continual planting of new congregations is the single most crucial strategy for the numerical growth of the body of Christ in any city, and the continual corporate renewal and revival of the existing churches in a city. Nothing else—not crusades, outreach programs, para-church ministries, growing mega-churches, congregational consulting, nor church renewal processes—will have the consistent impact of dynamic, extensive church planting.” - Tim Keller
